Demonstration route
We will start at 12 noon at Fritz-Förster-Platz on the TU Dresden campus and listen to the first speeches.
We will then set off in the direction of the Central Station. We will stop at Friedrich-List-Platz near the HTW Dresden for an interim rally at around 1 pm.
We will then make our way along St.-Petersburger-Straße and Willsdrufer Straße through Dresden’s historic city centre to the state parliament.
There will be a big final rally at 2 pm. The planned end is at 4 pm.
Joint travelling to Dresden
The lack of funding for the Studierendenwerke is a problem for all students in Saxony. That’s why the student councils from Leipzig, Zittau, Görlitz and Chemnitz will be joining us on 7 May and demonstrating with us in Dresden.
The following joint journeys by local transport are planned (for arrival 12 noon Fritz-Förster-Platz | 1 pm main station):
From Chemnitz main station: 10:30 a.m. | 11:30 a.m.
From Leipzig main station: 10:00 a.m. | 11:00 a.m.
From Görlitz railway station: 10:13 a.m. | 11:23 a.m.
From Zittau railway station: 9:04 a.m. | 11:03 a.m.
